Even though the Vichy French are less vigilant than the Germans, who control the Occupied Zone, travelling without any official papers is almost impossible. You've got to find a way.

While you try to figure out how to get to Marseilles, a German courier on a motorcycle appears. About fifty yards from where you are hiding, his vehicle hits a rut in the road and flips over. The rider's helmet flies off; he lands on his head and lies immobile in the road. You look around; no one else is there. You dash over to him, but you cannot tell whether he is dead or unconscious. His misfortune benefits you. You strip off his uniform and put it on. You are now a German courier while he wears the clothing of a fugitive.

With his motorcycle and his official papers, the trip to Marseilles is easy. You pass through beautiful countryside and eat lunch under the famous bridge in Avignon. Once in Marseilles, you discard the motorcycle and the uniform, knowing you would never find the resistance and a way out of France dressed like German.
